Equally at home on the road or track, the lightweight open two seater Toniq CB range has been developed as a car which will make you smile every time you drive it. Use it in the week to pop to the shops and then as your weekend warrior on race tracks, at hillclimbs and sprints, or for the 6am Sunday morning blast!
Adopting typically classic proportions from the Lotus 7, Toniq Ltd has recreated a 50's icon in 21st century design language. This latest versions from Toniq is the result of several years of extensive development and investment in the latest technology and chassis analysis.
There are currently four models in the CB range, two designed for more road use and two more specifically for track use.
CB S: The entry-level 'S' package negates unnecessary comforts to save weight. The result is a car that delivers a pure driving experience, boasting 180bhp from standard with an incredible power delivery, coupled with a front mid-engined layout and near perfect 50:50 weight distribution. The handing and agility from the Toniq adjustable inboard coil-over, fully independent double wishbone suspension fills the driver with confidence no matter what their level of driving skill, either on the road or a track day event. Performance from standard fit engine is a 0-60mph (97km/h) time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 130mph (209km/h).
CB R: The ‘R' is geared towards a more casual experience and includes creature comforts such as a fully-carpeted interior, leather trimmed seats, tonneau cover, 6 speed gearbox, 3 point seat belt, comfort spec ride and handling, and a 12v power socket. With an extra 20 bhp providing incredible power delivery, coupled with our front mid-engined layout and near perfect 50:50 weight distribution the CB R is comfortable enough to drive everyday and competent in handling the most challenging Alpine pass or coastal 'b' road. Performance from standard fit engine is a 0-60mph (97km/h) time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 140mph (225km/h).
CB T: The ‘T’ is a more track-focused package and is filled with upgrades that will turn every journey into an event. With an extra 25 bhp over the 'R' to hand, coupled with a front mid-engined layout and near perfect 50:50 weight distribution the 'T' is a force to be reckoned with on the track and the road thanks to our extensively developed ride and handling package! It includes a track day roll bar, composite race seats, leather steering wheel, 15” Alloy wheels with road legal track tyres, sports spec ride and handling, a four-point race harness, oil cooler and other race-inspired upgrades, whilst remaining IVA compliant and therefore road legal. Performance from the standard fit engine is a 0-60mph (97km/h) time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 145mph (233km/h).
CB X: The 'X' is the competition focused build which is purely geared towards sprint, hill climb and circuit events. It includes all items listed in the 'T' spec with the addition of an extra 35 bhp, coupled with our front mid-engined layout and near perfect 50:50 weight distribution, a full competition roll cage, 13” 2 piece race wheels. Options invlude either Nankang AR1 or Avon tyres, lightweight composite paneling and carbon race seats, suede steering wheel, race nose cone*, dry sump and oil cooler, emergency cut off and kill switches, increased lightness from the removal of unnecessary road items and a lightened wiring harness. Performance from the standard fit engine is a 0-60mph (97km/h) time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 150+ mph (241+ km/h).
All models, except the 'X', are offered woth otional power upgrades and there is a vast list of other optional extras with which to personalise your CB.
